Transfer prices 2019 – current regulations, methodology, comparative analysis, case study

Description of the training

The training will cover regulations that came into force on January 1st, 2019 as well as a provisions that were effective until December 31st, 2018 which may be still applied in 2019.

The most important issues regarding intra-group transactions will be subject to discussion during the training.

Also, principles of comparative analysis will be presented, broken down into material transactions and intangible transactions (loans, guarantees, license fees).

Futhermore, the training will discuss methods for estimating transfer prices with examples of their application for selected types of transactions.

Trainers conducting the training:

Dr Jarosław F. Mika

Tax advisor. He has several years of experience in the field of tax law. First as a board member in Polish capital companies with foreign capital and then as a tax adviser (entry number 10 625).

He gained experience in the field of taxes, among others at KPMG, CC & M. Author of several dozen publications on tax law issues (Przegląd Podatkowy, Monitor Potakowy) and books: “Transfer pricing. Commentary to the Regulation. Methods for Determining and Estimating transfer prices. Analysis of comparability. Examples” (C.H. Beck, Warsaw 2017, issue 2), “Transfer prices. Commentary to the Regulation of the Minister of Finance. Methods for determining and estimating transfer prices. Analysis of comparability” (C.H. Beck, Warsaw 2014), “Tax aspects of operations in special economic zones” (Unimex, Wroclaw 2012).

Member of the Program Board of the Transfer Pricing Institute. Member of the Competition Commission of the National Chamber of Tax Advisors Mazovian Branch of the third edition of the competition (2015/2016) for the best work.

Paula Arciszewska

Graduate of the Faculty of Law at the University of Białystok, leader of the team of tax consultants at the Transfer Pricing Institute. Gained her professional experience in an economic and tax law firm. Specializes in advising on the transfer of intangible assets. Lecturer on training in the field of transfer pricing.

Beata Rawa

Beata is a graduate of finance and accounting at the Warsaw School of Economics. She gained professional experience in the following fields in an international financial Corporation. Leader of a team of tax consultants at the Transfer Pricing Institute. She specializes in preparing comparative analyses for transactions within capital groups. Speaker at the transfer pricing training.

Beata is in the process of obtaining tax advisor privileges.

Aleksandra Chojnacka

Tax advisor (licence no. 13 448), experienced tax professional with several years of experience in Polish tax authorities. For the lat few years she has been mainly involved in corporate income tax, including transfer pricing.
PhD candidate of the Warsaw School of Economics. A graduate from the University of Lodz in Finance and Banking (specialization: Tax Strategies) and Tax Law, as well as the Warsaw School of Economics in Accounting.
In ICT Aleksandra leads a team of tax consultants and is responsible, among others, for comparability analyses and settlement of financial transactions in capital groups.
She is a trainer of trainings in the field of transfer pricing.

Paweł Rosiński

Tax Advisor No. 13 408.
Tax consultant at Transfer Pricing Institute.
Jagiellonian University in Cracow and Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin graduate.
Tax law practitioner, in particular in the field of Income tax, International tax and real estate tax. Transfer pricing trainings lecturer.
At ICT he is responsible for preparing transfer pricing documentations.
He gained experience in tax administration, where he conducted tax proceedings in the field of income taxes.

Kamil Jaśkiewicz

Tax consultant at Transfer Pricing Institute.
Graduated from Warsaw University with a master’s degree in Law.
A student of Finance and Accounting at Warsaw School of Economics.
Tax law practitioner, in particular in the field of income tax.
Specializes in intra-group intangible transactions market principles advisory and comparative analyses (benchmark study) preparation.
Transfer pricing trainings speaker.
Currently Kamil is in the process of acquiring the tax advisor qualifications.
